Personal Highlights

I am a three sport athlete, playing volleyball, swimming and track and field. I have never played JO volleyball, but have been a starter for 2 years on my Varsity High School Team. I am a state qualifier and school record holder in swimming, and I pole vault and hurdle for track. My Dad played professional football, and my brother is going to Wake Forest on a track scholarship after being 2017 and 2018 Ohio State Discus Champion. He also had 12 D-1 football offers.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I know, from my Dad and brother's experiences, that doing a sport in college helps keep you motivated, organized, and well rounded as a person.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am going in to my senior year, and I was elected to be Executive President of our school. I served as my class President these last two years, and I am looking forward to this year as President. In sports, I feel like I am a leader when it comes to helping teammates , who may struggle with workouts. Regardless of skill level, everyone on the team has to complete the same workout. I do my best to show patience and encouragement to my teammates.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I do most of my community service, serving the National Honors Society and Student Council at my school. We organize so many events where the community is invited, and we are the host. I love to see the future GlenOak students as young kids, get excited about being in our school. It is so important to see families spending time together, and for me to be there as a part of it.
