In college I just do not want to be focused in my studies, I want to create a bond with my teammates in college. Having that bond and trust on my fellow teammates, help me feel like I have a second family. Rowing for about 5 years has helped me gain leadership skills. I have been able to motivate people to strive for their best and achieve their goals. I enjoy the rush racing in a crew shell gives me. Training towards my goals give me hope that I can go above and beyond than I think in a sport. These are reasons why I want to be recruited.
Volunteer as a swim instructor for underprivileged children in Learn to Row classes for America Rows and Swims Newburgh. This is important to me because being able to swim is a great skill to have. Many people are scared to get near a body of water because they are afraid to drown. I want to help children not experience that and enjoy the many activities they can do on the water.
