Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play sports in college because I want sports to be apart of me even when I study. I still want to be athletic even though I am taking on my future career. Also, sports give me more of a determined and focused mindset for the future.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

In school, As a sophomore, I take on most of the clubs and try to participate in them as much as I can. Also, I take leadership in my classes by leading the students in the right way and providing help when needed. Outside of school, I'm involved in my church Sunday school and youth. I provide opportunities to make Sunday school and youth more fun of an experience. I'm also the youth treasury for my church.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I try to control my diet when I play sports. I eat vegetables or fruits for snacks and try to eat more carbs than fat/oil. I also attend practice on a daily basis unless excused from a doctors appointment, etc.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Very involved in school, Involved in church and involved with Sunday school. Volunteered at Philadelphia half marathon. I volunteer at least 30 hours a week at a rehab center. Also, I feed the homeless cats around my neighboorhood. These efforts are important to me because they shape the person I am currently and they shape the person I will be in the future.
