Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love being active and having something to do after school. I run because it helps me clear my head and I come from a family of runners. I play basketball and soccer because I enjoy the game and love to be apart of them.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am the co-captain of my school's cross country team and the oldest girl on the team. Even though I'm not the captain, the younger girls look up to me. I am also the 11th grade representative in my school's SGA.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer at the one of the local hospitals and the local humane shelter. I enjoy learning new things and working with the nurses at the hospital helps me learn more about medicine and allows me to bring smiles to others faces when I can help them. I volunteer at the shelter because I enjoy being around animals and many of the animals at the shelter aren't played with or walked.
