Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I just started playing golf as a freshman in high school and have come to love the game. If the opportunity is available for me to continue to learn the game and compete at the next level I want to take advantage of it. I believe playing golf in college will help me to stay focused on my goals of graduation and competing at the next level.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I try and lead by example when on the course playing with integrity and always encouraging everyone. I try to keep teammates upbeat especially after a bad round. Off the course, I strive to be a good citizen and friend. Always going out of my way to be kind to people and help when I can. I try to be a good example to the students I teach at the First Tee of El Paso.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I try and maintain a healthy balance between school work and golf practice. I understand my education comes first and my ultimate goal to grauate from college.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have volunteered with numerous organizations volunteering my time to helping my community. My favorite volunteer activity is working at the First Tee of El Paso. I truly enjoy helping young kids learn about the game of golf and all the values the game teaches them.
