Volleyball has been my passion since the beginning of sixth grade. It is my dream and my goal to play volleyball in college because I have so much love for the sport and I could not imagine myself quitting volleyball after high school!!
At my school I am very involved with our student council and I am the treasurer for the sophomore class. I am always working in school and out of school to help organize and plan events for Sanderson High School. As captain of my club team this year, I find it very rewarding to be the team leader on the court and I always strive to inspire and encourage my teammates to play their best.
I keep myself a healthy athlete by working to get as much sleep as my body needs as well as eating healthy and getting all the nutrients a growing athlete needs. I keep my performance as a student athlete good as well because I am an A/B student and school is very important to me.
Through my school and church youth group I am big on volunteering and attending mission trips to help others. This past summer I traveled to Belize for a mission trip where we built a school for the local children. This trip changed my life in an amazing way and I always am looking forward to other experiences that benefit other people.
