Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love being part of a team, I've played all my life and love the game, and feel it would be an honor to represent my school as part of the team.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field my coaches always relied on me as a positive role model in attitude and play. Most of growing up there were no captains on my club teams, however I was chosen to lead our team in stretches before and some drills during practices. Off the field I try to lead by example, I babysit neighborhood kids ranging from 3 to 10 years old and although i'm not with them every day, they are impressionable and I do my best to be a good role model for them.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Outside of regular practices, I do my best to eat healthy, drink a lot of water and continue an exercise program at home in my off seasons, or attend soccer specific technical and weight training

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Church Youth Group which provides community service to those in need and allows me to continue my religious education throughout high school.

Volunteer for different charitable organizations helping out at their fundraising events. Volunteering in different charitable organizations is good preparation for college and learning how to work with and for all kinds of people. It also opens up our minds to the diversity in our world and helps us to understand and appreciate how fortunate we are and not take things for granted.
