Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Basketball has practically been my life my whole life. I am absolutely in love with the sport. I've put my blood sweat and tears into this. My mom is a single mom and we've never been able to afford anything with a high price tag on it. She takes care of me so well and she's spent a lot of her money on basketball for me. It's almost like I need a scholarship from basketball, because without it I wouldn't be able to afford college. I work every day for this goal of a scholarship and I'm going to keep working for it until I get it. Even once I get this scholarship, I am going to keep working my tail off to get to the next level which is the professional level. Getting a scholarship and playing professionally would be a dream come true. I know it's going to happen because I am confident in the work that I put in.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the court, I talk a lot on defense which I believe is a good leadership quality that can spread throughout my team.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I have a routine that I follow. At 6 in the morning I wake up and either get a good swim in or a good run to help with conditioning. Then I go to school. Right after school, I hit the weight room. Rest for like 30 minutes. Stretch and foam roll in those 30 minutes. Head back to the court for like an hour or two. After that, I study. The back on the court for two more hours then my mom drives me home I watch film then go to bed.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am important to my community by always helping out younger kids. This is important to me because I love seeing the joy on their face.
