Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play hockey in college because the game is a huge part of my life. Hockey is something that I love doing any chance I get.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Being a leader is very important to me. Not only within sports, but with everything I do. As a junior I was captain of my high school hockey team. I took that responsibility very seriously. I have also been captain of previous youth and club hockey teams. I was captain on my club soccer teams as well. In the classroom I am always on time, make sure to work hard, help others, and turn everything in on time.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue a healthy athletic performance in a couple different ways. The most important to me include eating healthy and always getting enough sleep. These both can be challenging, but with planning ahead of time and dedication they can be done. Being a healthy student-athlete is very rewarding.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer coach U12 girls hockey at a local youth team that I grew up playing on. Coaching hockey is important to me because I love helping grow the game for women and being a role model for the girls to look up to. I also give back to the community by volunteer coaching youth soccer for my local town in the summertime. I enjoy helping different communities through serving on Mission trips. I served meals, cleaned daycares, and cleaned up parks.
