Payton has been a goalie for the last 6 years. He has trained with coaches from Young Harris College for 4 of them. The dream is to one day play professional soccer! Favorite team is Atlanta United and Chelsea

Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love soccer and want to be a professional goalie one day. I think this is a good step.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have been involved in church all my life. My dad is a pastor so I have helped with kids and ministry. I also helped plan a mission trip for me and my friends to Washington D.C to help with homeless and elderly through Team Effort Missions.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I train 4-6 times a week and work out at a gym.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am active in my church and have helped raise money for scholarships, raise food for local pantry, Service Sunday when we help around the community we painted playground equipment at a homeless shelter.
