Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love to run and it is a passion of mine!

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

At my job I always try to help my co-workers out and try leading them in the right direction. Also, as a junior and soon to be senior, I like to help the underclassmen get what they need done at practice so they can be better runners

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I always try to make sure I eat right and make the best choices for myself. Training always plays a big part of healthy athletic performance. Making sure you train on the days you are suppose to is key; even on the easier days.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have played a role at my church participating at camps as well as Speghetti Dinnerbs. Also, I was a member of the Interact Club at my school where you do community work as well. This kind of stuff is important to me because helping others out can go a long way not just for yourself, but others as well.
