Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Volleyball is something i cannot live without. When i play, i feel as though i am apart of something bigger than myself. Being able to play in college has been my dream since i first stepped foot on a volleyball court in 7th grade. Not only is volleyball something that I am good at , but its something that I enjoy very much. It isn't always about winning for me , its about getting on that court and playing my heart out, and when the game is over, feeling proud of the way i played. This is more than just a sport for me, it is a lifestyle.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I believe leadership is not about taking control , but rather being someone who people can depend on and come to when they need guidance. I am a very helpful and encouraging person on and off the court. I find joy in giving others advice and helping them find better ways to solve their issues. I am very dependable , whether it be encouraging my teammates on the court and picking their spirits up or helping a friend over come a problem they just can not seem to solve.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
