Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I'd love to be able to continue running and to be a part of a team at a higher level. I want to be able to see myself grow even more as an athlete and to surround myself with others that have the same goal.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have been named Captain of both the Cross Country and Track team for the 2018-2019 seasons. In addition to that, I have received awards that highlight my ability to be a good leader during my sophomore and junior years of running. In school, I will be the Vice President for the Senior Class Council and I will be a leader on a four day overnight retreat for my school.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Almost every Tuesday during the school year, my mom and I volunteer at a local clothing closet. It supplies clothing for underprivileged and homeless people in the area. This is important to me because I want to be able to help people and make a difference in my life, and this is the perfect outlet to do so.
