Other Academic Information
I have had experience with college level courses in the past. During my sophomore year I took several AICE courses. Along with these I have taken several honors courses in past years. The scores listed for my SAT and ACT were my 1st attempt at the test and I will be retaking both test in my senior year.

Personal Highlights

I started wrestling when I was in fourth grade, and since then I have always wanted to compete at the collegiate level. One quality I can bring to a team is my leadership skills. I am always trying to help teammates whether its with a move/drill, or by giving them some extra motivation when things get tough. Another valuable quality I hold is that I am easy to coach. I am always listening to my coaches during practice and competition because I know they're the ones who will help me succeed on the mat. In the classroom I am also a very hard worker. I always make sure I stay focused and on task both in class and on the mat.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to wrestle in college for a couple of reasons. The first reason of course being to further my education and set me up for success in the future. The other reason is that I love the sport of wrestling and want to be able to compete as long as I can.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer at my high schools youth wrestling club every Tuesday and Thursday after practice from 5:30-7:30. I also try to make time to volunteer at functions such as marathons or other events.
