Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play sports in college because it is my passion and makes up most of my life. I'm always active participating in multiple sports and I feel that if I get an opportunity to do what I love at college I should definitely take it, hoping to make a career out of it.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field: I push my teammates to their limits despite the obstacles that may lie in their way. I also cheer them up after their performance whether good or bad.
Off the field: I lead by example, staying out of trouble and unhealthy habits like drinking alcohol and smoking while encouraging my peers to do same.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student athlete, I always train whether my team has practice or not. When I'm done training, the rest of my day consists of getting my school work done and studying. I stay out of unnecessary hobbies that may distract me from attaining the best grades I could possibly get.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I help my community in the simplest but impactful way. I clean up after myself and may pick up trash here and there. I save every bottle of water and can of soda I drink for when I get home; then, I recycle it. These activities make Earth a cleaner place to live.
