Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I would like to be recruited to play college football because I would love to go to college with a scholarship! If I do receive a scholarship that would make me the first person within my family to go to college. Playing for a college team knowing that I am a part of something big with even biggger crowd to showcase my talents sounds very exciting!

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I’m a leader on and off the field in many ways. One example that I’m a leader off the field is that after school I’m in the PAL program (Police Activities League); in this program we do community service and help those in need. I show leadership on the field every game; being a captain your get a lot of attention. If we’re winning I don’t talk smack or showboat instead I keep playing well and stay humble. If we’re losing I’ll never give up and keep my head up high because I am aware that I represent my school.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue a healthy athletic performance by eating healthy. My family encourages me to eat well so I can grow to the fullest of my abilities. Also getting my exercise almost every day is crucial to me. If its not football season I’m for sure playing another sport.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I stay after school hour during my time to clean, give, assist in my community through the PAL program. These efforts are very important to me because the community is where I play, learn ,and live with my family. Other families and friend also do these activities and I would like it to be friendly and welcoming as possible.
