Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I enjoy volleyball and the competition. I also enjoy the friendship and closeness of working for one goal as a team. It's a break from my academic studies and it really helps me to focus.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Try may best on and off the volleyball field. I am on the National Honor Society at my school. We volunteer our services through tutoring and teaching prospective students about our school. We volunteer to raise money for Cancer research through the American Cancer Society. I also work with my teammates outside of practice, to help and support them when they need help with a skill or an academic subject.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I was a part of the Reformed Church of America's (RCA) First Reformed Church of Jamaica Soup Kitchen. One of Jamaica's oldest soup kitchen from 2015-2018. I helped serve, clean and pray for the 50+ clients we served every Monday evening from 5pm-8pm. While they have closed their doors for renovation. Serving is something we do as a family and a part of faith. We help others as we are blessed and called to by God.
