Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Soccer has always been an enormous passion for me and I have a genuine love for the game. I want to keep playing and progressing and I believe that college soccer is the ideal next step. I also see it as a platform to not only do what I love, but also receive a great education in a field that I am truly interested in.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field, I am a captain for The Gunnery varsity soccer team and try to encourage and raise up my teammates and those around me through accountability and constant communication. I continue to try and improve my leadership on the field by trying to set a good example for my teammates. Of the field I try to do much of the same: setting the best example I can and supporting those around me with words of encouragement and kindness.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue healthy athletic performance through all facets of my life. Physically, I simply stretch thoroughly before and after exercise, as well as go to the gym and fields regularly to get stronger and practice. However, mentally I simply enjoy the game and try to have a smile on my face as much as possible.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

At school, I am a tour guide, regularly showing those visiting what my school has to offer. I am also a n orientation leader as well as a Mentor. Outside of school, I volunteer at Companion Pet Rescue in Southbury, CT, tutor at Washington Montessori School, as well as the Children's Community School in Waterbury, CT.
