Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

When it comes to leadership on the field, I demonstrate this quality by calming down my teammates during confrontations. I also encourage them when they do things correctly. I am usually the person who defuses situations and I don't start them. Off the field, I lead younger kids by being a good example. I also take charge during school projects.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I do this by working out with a personal trainer, and also I eat healthy food. Not to mention, I drink whey protein shakes to help me gain weight, and to get bulkier.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

When it comes to my service to the community I've done a good part to help. This upcoming school year I will be participating in Teen Mentoring. This means that myself, and a select group of people in my school, will go help younger kids who have struggles, rather it be home or at school, with their work and their overall recovery towards a brighter path. My high school team also helped the local festival clean up and get the tents packed up. All these efforts are very important because it brings people together. The world is so divisive today, and with the showing of compassion those struggles can be put to the side and we can all help each other.
