Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

As a sophomore I was selected to represent my grade at the Wisconsin Leadership Seminar, and at the seminar I learned many new leadership skills and what it takes to be a leader in today's day and age. From the skills I learned I have been able to apply them to my role as a student council representative for my grade where we discuss and take action on student based issues and needs.
On the court I am vocal and encourage my teammates to become better and be the best versions of themselves, so we can all reach our end goal of making it to the state tournament. I was also selected to represent my school at our conference's "Sportsmanship and Leadership Summit" as an athlete that displayed leadership qualities. At the summit, I learned how to specifically lead as an athlete and I was exposed to many new ideas.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
