Personal Highlights

I started swimming at age 8 with my summer swim team- Skyline Sharks. From there I added winter age group swimming at age 10 with the Manheim Township Age Group team and swam with this team for five years. I began swimming for my High School team freshman year and received my varsity letter for both Freshman and Sophmore year. In September of 2017 I joined a USA Club Swim Team- Lancaster Aquatics Club and moved up to their senior group in April of 2018 when long course began.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love swimming as a sport and want to carry on beyond High School

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have helped my summer swim team with the younger swimmers by being a Lead Crew member for the last three years and Co-Captain of the team for the summer of 2018.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I take care of my self by eating healthy, getting a good nights sleep and have been lifting weights two times a week.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

My younger brother suffers from a rare migraine disease called Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome (CVS). For my Bar Mitzvah project, I organized a walk and raised over $6,000 to support the national CVS organization and to raise awareness for this rare disease.

I have also volunteered my time for my local summer swim team over the last four years. I am part of our Lead Crew that stays and helps with the younger swimmers. Our Lead crew over the last few years has also gone to our local Boys and Girls Club in Lancaster to help teach the children to swim.

I have been involved with a local organization called PowerPacks Project and helped hand out Thanksgiving meals to families in need and also helped at their warehouse organizing and packaging the food for distribution.

Helping out in the community is very rewarding and I like that I can make a difference.
