Personal Highlights

Wanting to pursue a nursing degree. I love to play lacrosse and sing within my chorus group. I played years of soccer and have transitioned over to lacrosse just 2 years ago. I am learning the sport quickly, and loving every minute of it. I would love the opportunity to continue my journey by playing lacrosse at a collegiate level.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I have always done sports growing up. I am very competitive and love to push myself. I am always taken for granted because of my small stature (4'11 and 110 lbs), but once they see me with the ball, they realize I become "Mighty Mouse" as my father calls me. I have aggression and passion to play sports.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

My coach chose me to be the female representative for my school at the North Carolina High School Athletic Association.
I always try to keep my team motivated, even though we are a new and young program, I feel we have some great athletes and our team is full of A/B student/athletes so I know we can push through a difficult game.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I am give 110% in practice. I am a student athlete who maintains a 3.7 GPA as well as a high stand on the field. I feel that if I practice hard, then games should be easier and I can focus on what needs to be done for each competitor we face.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

My high school lacrosse team has volunteered more hours (over 500) as a team than any other at my school. We usually choose Habitat for Humanity and help with building new homes for handicapped or less fortunate families. It is a great feeling to see your accomplishments at the end of each session.
