Personal Highlights

I have committed to play at Lincoln College.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play sports in college so I can keep my grades up. Throughout my childhood I have strived for good grades so I would not become ineligible and not be able to participate. I feel if I continue to play softball throughout college it will help me maintain my work ethic

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

When I am on the field, I show leadership by trying to keep the dugout loud and speaking up when we are in the field and an error is committed. Off the field I show leadership by being a good example for the children at my church and showing them what it means to be respectful.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue healthy athletic performance by always staying hydrated. Working out in the weight room when given the opportunity and never missing practices. I also do not participate in drinking or doing drugs as I know how that can affect and ruin someone's career as an athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

In my community, I volunteer to watch children during church. I also am a part of our school's National Honor Society and Student Senate that help to gather food and money for non-profit organizations such as local food drives and hurricane victims. These efforts are important to me so I can become a better person and hope it helps me to realize what is important in life.
