When it comes to things I love, there is nothing I love more than exerting myself to a point I never knew I could reach before. Each day in rowing is a new goal, a new test, and a new chance to do that both individually and with my team. I see rowing in college as the next goal, the next test.
As a sophomore, I initiated and was the project leader for the ERC-20 cryptocurrency project for the Mamaroneck High School computer science department. This was a unique project that engaged all computer science students in grades 9-12.
As a crew, we have drafted and follow a strict code of conduct which stresses the three most important aspects of physical health. Those being at least 8 hours of sleep per night; consistent workout regimen(at least 8 logged workouts per week); and a clean, substantial, and balanced diet. Additionally, we have agreed to abstain from any drug or alcohol use.
Volunteer Coach-in-training at Mamaroneck Swim Club. I have been a member of this team since the age of 6 and have competed in the A finals of Westchester county championships many times. As I transitioned to rowing, I remained active with this swim club, competing, and assuming coaching responsibilities.
