Personal Highlights

I am also very involved in the artsy side of things. I made my own prom dress, I sew and fix things that need fixing. I have my own art selling business and workshops. (Canvas works, Watercolor, Acrylic, Oils, Charcoal, Murals, etc.) I attended Govenors School for the Arts during the summer of 2017 for 3 weeks at Marshall University. I am in the elite “Young Patriots” choir at WPHS.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

A college degree is extremely important to me and getting to go for cheaper if not free would be ideal. If I have the ability and opportunity to do it, why not?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Being a leader on my golf team and a coach for younger kids around the community demonstrates leaderships skills on and off the field. Younger girls look up to me when they see my play and see my scores and think they can also be as good if not better when they get to the high school level.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Academics comes first no matter what, so I do spend a lot of time with school. Being an athlete as well keeps me focused in school to make sure I get all my work done as well. No one wants to do bad, but there will always be those days. I work on what I need to at the driving range when I have problems on the course. I ask for help from my coaches and mentors trying to get as much advice as I can at all times to better myself when I play.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I donate my paintings and other artworks to hospitals and charities around the state. I volunteer as a Junior Volunteer at Ohio Valley Medical Center during the summers. I am very much involved in school related volunteer events such as the Youth Leadership Organization around Wheeling, a Freshman Mentor, REAP Counselor, a team volunteer coach for younger kids camps, etc. Being involved around the city and community is honestly just a fun thing to do which I enjoy. I enjoy helping others and improving anything we can by building a team to achieve our goals.
