Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Sports have been a part of my life since I was very young and I'm not ready to stop just yet. School has always been easy for me and I have managed a job, sports, and school just fine. Being a college athlete would push my limits and make me even more responsible with an even greater reward of playing college sports.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I volunteer coach a middle school aged volleyball team through my local YMCA. Not only do the girls look up to me but so do the parents and the people watching the games. Coaching a team is a big leadership role because everyone depends on you and your job is to help every person and make everyone better.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I manage the student-athlete life pretty well. School always comes first, so whenever I am done with practice or work I will get any homework or studying done before talking to friends. Staying fit helps me stay healthy and when I am not in a sport season I continue to work out and practice my skills.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Through my school I am part of clubs that help different areas around our community or around the world, may it be volunteering or fundraising. I work at my local YMCA as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and volunteer coach whenever needed. Whether I am paid or not I am giving back to my community through the form of educating and helping.
