In the summer of 2017 we travelled to Orlando, FL for the AAU National Championship and came in 2nd place. This past summer we were at Run for the Roses in Louisville and the Southern Championship in Atlanta. In Orlando this July we won the AAU National Championship tournament.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

As a student athlete, I believe it is my responsiblity to be an example to my peers, family and team mates. I work hard to maintain good grades and a strong work ethic in my athletic training. Most important to me is to be an example to my younger siblings. I want them to know that if you work hard, anything is possible. Off the court I am a leading member of my church's youth group where we work together to learn about our faith and do service for others. As a member of both teams, I make sure that I am available for whatever the coach needs and come to practice ready and willing to work hard.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am an active member of my church's youth group. We do many different activities to help out our community. I am also an active member of my church. I help with camps for both softball and basketball. I think it is important to help and show compassion for others. I hope that through my own actions I can lead and encourage others to "pay it forward". I have been so blessed in my life to have people around me who help and encourage and I think it is important for anyone to be successful to have the same support. If I can make a difference in one persons life, I have made a difference in the world.
