Personal Highlights

My name is Hugh Johnson and I am from Lancaster, PA. I have written this bio because of my interest in playing basketball at the collegiate level. Currently, I am in 8th grade at Pequea Valley Intermediate School, located in Lancaster County.

This past season I played for a lot of leagues and I was a starter. I was really good defensively and helped my team win a lot of games. I was always know as a valuable player!

Scholastically I have straight A’s. I have achieved the Honor roll in all the semesters in the Intermediate school. My participation in school was great! In looking forward even further, while college is yet more than a couple years away, I will be exploring a number of college majors, but currently am interested in the law and engineering fields.

Consistent with the past few years, I have dedicated the off-season towards improving my jump shot, dribbling, defense, passing and be an all around player. From sixth grade on I have worked on my skills to become a better player. Finally, as a team member and leader, I will be working on basketball and be attending all the camps I can.

Coaches, I look forward to hearing from you and a possible recruiting process.

Sincerely,

Hugh Johnson

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play basketball in college because I always been interested in basketball! I love playing basketball!!

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I demonstrate leadership on the field by communicating to teammates.telling them if I’m okay and etc. I love Helping my team in as many ways as I can! I demonstrate leadership off the field by respecting everybody who comes in my path! I respect my teachers. I never ever will do anything disrespectful.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I lift weights, I eat healthy, I perform in school, and continue to strive higher in my basketball advancement.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved in helping my school with a lot of stuff! When the teacher need something or need help with organizing stuff, I spend my out of school time helping them!
