Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Ever since I picked up my first lacrosse stick almost 6 years ago, I was hooked at the speed, precision, and camaraderie within the sport and game. I have played attack, defense and found my passion as the goalie. I am taking the hours of practices and skill development and camps as I continue to improve my skills for my team each year, and hope to keep taking it to the next level.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I was nominated and voted to be a team captain as a sophomore, and again now for my junior year in high school, by my teammates. As the goalie and captain, I work on the field to keep communication flowing and keep morale up if we are struggling during a game. Off the field, I helped set up team bonding activities and fundraisers for our team. I also run the team instagram page.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I am self motivated to improve my skills at home year round, including exercising, doing footwork and speed drills on my own time. i spend hours doing wall ball and stick skills with both my goalie and regular stick. I spend much time watching my own game videos to see where I can improve and research by watching college games also.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

In spring of 2018, I started working on my referee certification and have been helping mentor at the local youth girls lacrosse team, to help build up the program. I am involved with my church youth group and complete community enrichment services to help many that are disadvantaged.
