I am a Borlaug Scholar from the World Food Prize

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Sports are a big part of my life; I've played sports since the time I could walk and I don't want high school to be the end of my athletic career.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field, I play at center defense as a varsity starter and off the field, I am a BKOM (Braves Kickoff Mentor) at OHS. I'm a Borlaug Scholar in the World Youth Prize which aims to fight world hunger and help people around the world.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

To achieve my "healthy athletic performance", I run and lift whenever I get the chance while eating more nutritious and healthy food. I study/do my homework early in the day so I don't stay up all night and can get a full 8 hours of sleep.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am part of OHS service club, I'm always helping other students, teachers or anyone in general because helping people is an instinct for me. I've created clubs that have been designed to help students be relieved from any day stresses or unwanted feelings/thoughts. I have been participating in World Food Prize and will be traveling to Iowa as a delegate from Ohio.
