I have been a part of winning in clutch moments my whole career from 8th grade leading my football team(qb) on a final 1 minute drive to win the league championship to winning our 8th grade basketball tournament with a OT last second shot and then on to our 8th grade track league championship. My 9-11th was very team oriented and as a program heavy in seniors I have not had many varsity minutes but we have a win loss record with my time leading the JV the last 2 years of 33-6... I am holding to add any more stats and accomplishments until my senior year... we are on a mission for a trip to Columbus for the state championships this year in basketball( after reaching regional finals) and also in Track which we also reach the regionals (4x800).... and as another year of senior lead talent - I will be a significant part of how far we go in both.
I want to play basketball as long as I am able to. I love the challenge and the process of being a part of a team and I want that to continue beyond high school.
I have always been the unspoken leader on the court as the goto player both during the game for momentum surge and when the game is on the line who my teams looks too for coming up in the clutch. Off the court I am always looked at as the one who “does the right things “ and I lead by example both by making good decisions and by working my butt off in and out of season.
Athletics has always been a great motivator fornmy school work and has been an important tool in creating structure in my daily life and acedemics.
Our school is founded on service before self and I volunteer for a variety of school and other community activities to help suppers both out school and those around it.
