Left Handed! My Main Position is Setter in Club. I am a six rotation player and hit Right Side and play Defensive Specialist. I have played all positions based on what the Team and Coach needed of me. I am a shorter hitter but I do have a great vertical jump for blocking and a strong hit. I actually led my team in highest amount of blocks this season, and was second in kills playing middle.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I have wanted to play volleyball in college since I was eight years old. Volleyball has always been my passion and I am always trying to find ways to better myself. I have tried to be a versatile player, playing wherever my team needs me.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have been a Junior Coach for a group of girls in Club Volleyball for the past two years. Last year they finally shed first in Springfield, MO and 11th in HOAVB. This year I will coach them at the U12 level. I love being a Mentor to the girls and I have thoroughly enjoyed watching them grow not just in their volleyball skills but in life skills like confidence and a positive attitude.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I have always tried to find ways to improve my abilities. I do try to eat right but I also lift weights and have done cross fit, vertical and strength training in the past. I really just stay active, which seems to help me stay healthy.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have been a Girl Scout for the past nine years. I have done several things with my Troop, but some key things are:
1. Planted a garden at the Primary School.
2. Picked up trash on Table Rock Lake.
3. Did a food drive for the local food pantries.
4. Visit a Nursing Home on a regular basis where we sing and talk with the residents.

All of these things have made me feel like I contributed in a small way to our community and I feel that it is very important to be a contributing citizen.
