In the season of 2015-2016, I was awarded a Varsity letter, Conference Honorable Mention, and defensive player of the year. During that season I helped my team by being competitive on the court and hustling for every lose ball, giving me the most steals on the team for that season. During 2016-2017 season I was awared Team MVP, and Second Team All Conference. During the 2017-2018 season I was awarded MVP of the team, First Team All Conference, First Team All Ohio.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Sports have always played an important role in my life. It has always brought me good memories, dedication, and positive habits such as practicing, being a teammate, and never giving up. I want to carry these attributes with me forever, and I believe that basketball will only enhance what I have learned throughout the years about these attributes.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I was given the honor to be team captain my junior year. Often times there are moments when the team becomes frustrated and forgets what the sport is truly about. I believe that it is my job to remind the rest of my teeammates what we are on the court for, and to remind them that as a team we can pull through whatever type of diversity we are facing, and therefore lead them through that diversity. Off the court I try to lead other players by setting a good example. I try to show them that dedication is important on the court and in the classroom. I am apart of NHS, and I think that being apart of something so dedicated to education should really lead others to be just as dedicated in the classroom.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

In order to pursue a "healthy athletic performance," I make sure to give my all in the gym and in the classroom. There are many shortcuts people would rather take, but I make sure that I put my 100% into whatever I'm doing whether that be on the court or in the classroom.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

In my community I make sure to give back. My community has given me support on the court and in the classroom, in order to support and help others I make sure that my family and I give back to the foodbanks. At the Greater Cleveland Foodbank volunteers repackage food to redistribute to the less fortunate, I believe that helping others who are in a tighter spot than your own is something that every human being should keep in mind. The Orange High School girls basketball team also reaches out to the community. We consistently host basketball camps for younger girls. By hosting these camps, we are creating bonds and memories, and giving these younger girls confidence and support to be active and kind to others.
