Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play tennis in college for a couple reasons. First, I hope to get a scholarship to help pay for my education and second, as indicated in the previous response, it will be an activity that I love and will keep me physically fit and to keep my mind fresh for my college classes.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have offered to play tennis with underclassmen both to help them and so that I would get as much court time as I could. I also mentor a 5th grade class at one of our elementary schools. During the school year I have volunteered to help the middle school drama teacher with the Forensics Competitions.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I think a well rounded student-athlete is very important to maintain a lifestyle that keeps you physically fit. I want tennis to be a lifetime form of exercise. I currently work in a Tennis Club and see many age groups including seniors coming in to play tennis at a pretty high level and they stay in great physical condition.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have helped our tennis coach with the summer tennis camps for the past 3 years to help instruct kids from age 5 up to high school on the basic fundamentals of tennis and strategies all while making it a fun experience.
