Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to take my talent and passion to the next level, while challenging myself to step out of my comfort zone in a new place and time in my life.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On my cross country team, I lead after school team bonding activities to get to know new team members and build team unity. Off the course, I am part of a Freshman Mentor Program, in which I help incoming freshmen get acclimated to high school.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I maintain a healthy diet and exercise regimen all year round.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

My participation in NHS and Key Club in high school has given me many opportunities to give back to my community and other communities. Some of my favorite service opportunities include volunteering at Mathew 25 Ministries, a disaster relief organization; Fall Fiesta, an event that raises funds for schooling in Guatemala; and Three River's Acclaim Foundation which supports my school district's fine arts programs.
