Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play esports in college?

I want to be able to pursue everything that I love for as long as I can. I love video games and esports, the competition drives me to be my best self. I believe that staying true to what you love is an amazing and important quality and I try to follow it every day.

Being a part of a competitive esports team can provide opportunities for leadership.Provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in and out of game.

As an IGL (In-Game Leader) my main job (in PUGs and MM [Pick-Up Games & Matchmaking] ) is to make sure that my team gets along and that we stay organized and stay friendly. Especially in games such as CSGO, in which one team-member can lose the entire match, it is incredibly important that I keep everyone on the same page, and make sure that everyone stays positive. Being a leader is about setting an example and helping everyone around you be a better player.

Balancing academics, gaming performance and a healthy lifestyle are extremely important. How do you pursue a healthy balance of these factors in your esports career?

I always challenge myself in school, taking as many as 5 AP courses in one year (Junior). I always find time to study, whether I want to or not, because I don't have time to procrastinate. The same goes for exercising, as I run each morning. If any of these three things is lacking, it will bring down my performance in school and in my esports as well, so keeping everything balanced is incredibly important.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

This summer I spent 70 hours helping children in my community learn at Barrington's Safety Town. Spending time with the next generation of Barrington and helping them stay safe is incredibly important to me because when I was younger High School kids had volunteered there to help me as well. Giving back to my community is important so that everyone around me can learn from my example and help more.
