Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I really enjoy playing soccer and would love to continue to play at the next level and have the opportunity with players and coaches that are going to challenge and push me to become a better soccer player. I want to be recruited so I can challenge myself on and off the soccer field and hope to develop as a soccer player, student, and a leader.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the soccer field I have been team captain of my club and high school team and I demonstrated leadership through communication, kindness, and honesty. As a center back I have to be an effective communicator and an encourager of my team. Off the field I am involved in leadership clubs within my school, that teach students how to lead and communicate effectively. Also I volunteer in the children's ministry at my church in the mornings where I lead elementary students in worship and activities.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved in service with a program called Top Soccer where I get to help teach kids with disabilities how to pass and dribble soccer balls and teach them how to play as a team. Also i serve at my church on Sunday morning in children's ministry. I also serve by leading in an outreach program at a middle school student council, where a group and I teach about leadership skills.
