Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I have played sports since I was around 4 years old, I played soccer for a while, I played t ball and into softball, and then in 2nd grade I started basketball. I would love to continue my career throughout college as I enjoy the friendships formed, the challenges I face each game, and how it pushes me to a better person. I enjoy being on the field and doing our workouts during the off season, it creates great team building and really getting to know someone. Playing in college would give me memories to share with my kids one day.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I believe a healthy lifestyle includes, strengthening & conditioning, eating healthy and making the right choices to fuel your body. As an athlete your body endures much more then a typical teenager, so eating properly and getting enough sleep to help my body heal and perform at peak performance is important to me. I also know my limits and where I can push my body and mind too, having a relationship with my coach that understands that as well and doesn't think I am making excuses, seeing that I work hard on and off the field helps establish a healthy lifestyle.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
