Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I have always watched the big players of the MLS, Premier League, Champions League and obviously the World Cup, and wondered if I would ever have a chance to make it big like they did. I do have my eyes set on a military career path, however if I was presented the ability to go big in the soccer world, I would definitely give it my best shot.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

This is true, as I am team captain voted in by the team itself and I am known to lead warmups, help setup the field and take down the equipment at practices and games with players regardless of a loss or a win. I am known to lead in motivation and keeping up with my teammates to make sure they are alright and doing well in their classes. I am also in leadership positions in both my Scout Troop and my JROTC class, I have served many leadership terms in the troop one even being Senior Patrol Leader. In JROTC I have served as Squad Leader, and now am Platoon Leader, although I may be looking at a promotion to Company Commander soon, as my SAI has a keen eye to see my fellow cadets and I helping out our freshman and new cadets to get through the class and be better citizens as the program mission insists.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I try to keep myself in as best physical shape as my lifestyle will allow, I workout often and will be taking Strength & Conditioning class next semester so that it fits into my schedule a bit easier. I do my best to keep healthy eating habits so that my performance doesn't suffer for the sake of my team and my future.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am a Boy Scout, and am just a few, mere steps from attaining my Eagle rank along with a few palms. I am very involved in my Boy Scout Troop and my JROTC program in which both partake and host many activities and services to the local community. Having the ability to take part in these services are important to me as they give me a chance to learn through the service to others, and a chance to give back to the community.
