Other Academic Information
I attended public school for all grades through freshman year in high school, but I have been homeschooling since my sophomore year. I feel that I can get more work done on my own, for I am a very motivated individual. My typical day consists of 4 hours of homeschooling in the morning, 4 to 5 hours of golfing in the afternoon, and 2 hours of school in the evening. The subjects I am studying at home are Chemistry, Advanced Algebra, American Literature, U.S. History, and Korean (language).

**Jolie was medalist in two of her six conference meets this year with one-over par 37s in the very competitive Fox River Classic Conference.

**Jolie has earned Academic All-State awards during her sophomore and junior years.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Ever since I took up the game of golf, I have loved the challenge and excitement of the sport. I used to play basketball and soccer, but I have quit those sports to focus on golf. Golf is my passion. I want to be recruited to play college golf because I want to take my golf career as far as I can go.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

My teammates and I are very supportive of each other. Before a meet and when we cross paths on the course, we are always full of encouragement for one other. Of the course, I have helped my teammates when they needed help with a certain aspect of their game or wanted a second opinion about something in their swing. I have also acted as a role model to the younger girls who look up to the varsity players by talking and being friendly to them.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student-athlete, it is important to balance your academic and athletic lives. By working hard on my schoolwork in the morning, I am rewarded with being able to play golf in the afternoon. My healthy athletic performance is influenced by my dedication to both academics and athletics, strength training, healthy eating, and sufficient sleep.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Every Sunday at my church, I help teach the little kids (K-3rd grade) and help them with their educational craft. This is important to me because I was one of those little kids once, and it feels good to give back and help my church community by volunteering.
