Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

When I started rowing, I immediately loved the sport. Rowing practice is something I look forward to every day and I want to still have that in college. I want to be a part of a team and I want to continue doing the thing i love so much.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am a representative for my class in Student Congress and, along with the other members, plan everything for the class of 2020 and events my class is in charge of. With rowing, members of the team are always stepping up to encourage their boat or to get things done. I am always getting girls to help get everything ready for practice and cheering for my other team mates.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I make sure to stay on top of my homework and get enough sleep every night. I need to make sure I am eating healthy and preventing injuries with rest and other exercises. I also make sure to keep a balance between school, rowing, and my social life.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I serve at church and am also in Students Togetger Assisting Refugees (STAR) club. I am also in Girl Scouts and volunteer for events with my troop.
