Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I have discovered rowing and have greatly enjoyed the competition and personal challenge.. I would like to row in college because I think it will help me be a better student, staying organized and focused. Competing in college allows me to stay in balance with a part of me that has participated in sports for the past 8 years. The personal connection with teammates will be another important piece of that opportunity.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am looking forward to my final year of varsity basketball as a captain fri my team. Organizing our summer league is just of if the many roles I will play.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Playing a sport demands a personal commitment to eating healthy, getting enough sleep and staying in shape. I have worked with a personal trading to build up my underlying strength and muscle mechanics. I plan to continue these steps to be the best I can be.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

My recent summer community service was in Durango CO. Working on the Southern Ute Indian Boys and Girls Club introduces me to a different world. It was good working with the kids at the camp and a great opportunity to see a different yet similar culture up close.
