I love running track with my high school team and feel that I compete well because I am a USAG Level 10 gymnast who is very athletic and easy to coach. I love to compete.
I have been a part of competitive sports from the age of 4. I enjoy competing and working hard everyday towards a goal. Most importantly, I love being part of a team and want to continue this aspect of my life in college and beyond.
I am a "Big Sister" to a number of my teammates and know the importance of encouraging and supporting my teammates. I also enjoy helping my classmates with their studies. I feel that working with others and helping everyone to succeed only makes me a better version of myself.
I believe that all athletes perform at their best when they are well-rested and well prepared. I know that training is one of the most important elements for a successful competition so I train hard when at practice. I also believe athletes need to rest recover from training and feel this is an important element to the overall health and success of any athlete.
I enjoy volunteering at the following organizations: Feed My Starving Children, Special Olympics, St Jude's Children Hospital and the HAHs Animal rescue. I feel that it is important to help others and by doing so I am able to share my gifts and learn from those around me.
