Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play sports in college to pursue the sport I love and to get better. I also want to be a role-model to the next generation of field hockey players, and overall create a positive influence for people to look up to.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have demonstrated leadership on the field by directing the back field as a stopper during discouraging games, while initiating a positive attitude that radiates up the field. In addition to this, I can be considered a leader off the field because I have been responsible for organizing many school events as a member on the SGA Executive Board, and getting things in order efficiently and quickly.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student athlete by maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This includes eating the right foods, getting enough sleep, exercising daily, and keeping up with my academic studies and part-time job.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Community service is very important to me because it gives me a chance to give back. I have made an effort to be involved in helping people from a young age in ways such as joining a library volunteer program, giving horseback riding lessons to kids at a local YCMA, remaining involved with the NJROTC program at my school, and volunteering at all school events with SGA.
