Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love hockey and I am very passionate about it. I really cannot imagine my life without hockey in it. I love to compete and I love the feeling of making a great save. When I play hockey, I feel as if I am in my own zone and nothing off the ice matters. I know that sounds cliche, but it's true. I have been dreaming about playing college hockey ever since I was little.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

One type of service I really enjoy is going to a place called Joseph's Coat, which is a free clothing and hygiene products store for people who are in need. I like to go there with a couple of friends to sort clothes in the back room and run items to the regular volunteers as needed. I also am joining the service place called "Bridging" for my senior project that I officially start prepping for in the summer. "Bridging" is a place where people who are in need of furniture can get it for free. My job will be working in the warehouse helping move furniture around. In a less formal setting than that, I also help out as being a goalie coach for my little brother's hockey team.
