Personal Highlights

Hello, my name is Daniella but I prefer to be called by massQraid or Q for short. I prefer to be noticed for being different rather than the same. I have my own unique ways of doing things such as my play style and role but easily listen to orders from coaches, my peers, and surely those before me who have mastery of that subject when given. When I'm in a game, not only am I fully concentrated, but I'm driven to win. I take pride when I lose a match knowing I played to the best of my abilities against my opponent(s). I'm not going pretend that I'm the best gamer out there but I guarantee a radiant energy off and on game. When it comes to school I wont lie about my performance. My GPA is something I'm looking forward to bringing up as I'm a quarter through my junior year. I am motivated by those around me such as my older brother who is proud of me for making my way into video games with a fiery passion. When you look at my profile I hope you don't see just a gamer but a player with a heart and determination.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact via email or phone (text).

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play esports in college?

Its been a dream since I was young to play video games competitively. Ever since I got a controller (a wii remote) in my hand, I knew I wanted to do it as a career. Also, I believe it would add a fun experience to my college timeline but give me long time friendships and a (gaming) family as well.

Being a part of a competitive esports team can provide opportunities for leadership.Provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in and out of game.

In game, I do my best to lead my team to victory by shot calling plays. I will also flex for my team in comp when I know that my teammates aren't up for the challenge. Outside the game I will assist my peers in school when it comes to class work or assignments that I have a better understanding on.

Balancing academics, gaming performance and a healthy lifestyle are extremely important. How do you pursue a healthy balance of these factors in your esports career?

A gamer needs to be able to pay attention and do several things at once. Whenever I have time in school I try to use that to my advantage when I have work to be done or a few minutes after I reach my house. After assignments are completed, I jump right into the game. Typically I would grab fruits or vegetables to snack on during queue but occasionally I have days where I trade that in for a sweet. I try my best to get enough water into my body so I can focus on the game and not dehydration or taking my hand off my controller

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I serve annually at my local food pantry around Thanksgiving and volunteer to help at shelters or events within my community. I serve where help is needed.
