Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love playing lacrosse. I would like to continue to be a part of a team in college and be around others as passionate as I am for lacrosse. I also believe being a part of a team teaches you a lot about life lessons such as: working with others, effective communication, leadership and time management skills.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Little Lax is a program created to introduce and expose young kids to the game of lacrosse. I enjoy being a part of this program because lacrosse is something I am passionate about and I want to be a positive role model for the younger kids. This year, as a sophomore, I will be one of the co-coaches for the little lax program.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I workout regularly varying my routines from specific lacrosse drills to typical gym routines (cardio, strength, and stretching). I try to be conscious of eating healthy. I feel I am good at listening to body's cues for rest.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Power Serve is a community service project that brings students and community members together to help complete projects for those unable to such as the elderly, veterans or families in need of assistance. Some of the projects are gardening, painting, yard clean up and building repairs. I think it is important that the town, especially students, comes together to help others. This year, as a sophomore, I am part of the planning committee.
