Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play sports in college because sports are what keep me disciplined and focused. I am constantly being taught new life lessons that I can use throughout life. When I am on the field and I look into the crowd at people that came to watch me and my team succeed, it gives me the constant drive to win and keep competing. Not to mention I don't want to stop playing the sport I love when my highschool career comes to an end, I want to bring what talent I have to any school I could.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field I regularly keep the talking going so that every player knows what is going on. I also try to help them get out of their head when the game may be stressing them out or they mess up. Outside of sports I am the Historian of Student Council and in other volunteer activities I try and be a driving force of what the leading personnel wants to happen and keep the flow of work.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

To keep in healthy athletic performance I try to stay involved throughout the year in some type of activity. Whether it is indoor soccer during the winter or track during the spring I try to keep my body in good athletic condition.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved in Key Club, National Honors Society, and Student COuncil which regularly get involved with volunteer work. With these various volunteer activities, I get to show people that students from Zanesville do not deserve the reputation we get. It helps show that our school is trying to be better.
