I came into high school expecting to continue playing volleyball. I then realized that I needed to try something different. I have heard hundreds of stories about my dad's crew team at Orange Coast College and all the fun he had. I decided to give it a try. Being with my team and practicing everyday quickly became the highlight of my high school experience. I have grown closer than ever with the girls and guys I see at the break of dawn on Saturday mornings. I want to continue these types of friendships in this amazing sport in college. Crew is a sport that takes dedication and heart, I would like to say that I have given all I can in this sport and will for a long time.
