Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to continue rowing in college for 2 reasons. #1, because I dream of one day making the US National team, and competing at the Olympics. #2, I couldn't imagine my life without competitive rowing, it is my passion.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I was promoted to team captain at the end of my junior year season. I constantly push my teammates to be the best they possibly can be every day in rowing, and in life. I also run and manage our team Instagram account, and our team Remind. I create and print out new recruiting fliers every year. and I've recruited over half of my entire team. On the water, I remind my boats that we all have one common goal. winning. and I constantly tell them what they could work on to get better, faster, and stronger. I also organize team bonding events, because I believe the bond between crew-mates is a crucial part of being successful.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
